About & Standards

ABOUT-EDIT-TEST verified.

UKPeptides supplies research-grade peptides to laboratories, universities and qualified researchers. Everything we sell is intended exclusively for in-vitro research and laboratory use — and everything we publish is held to the same standard of accuracy and transparency.

What we supply

We stock lyophilised research peptides — from GLP-1 receptor agonists and tissue peptides to growth-hormone secretagogues and copper peptides. Each compound is listed with its full identifier (including CAS number where applicable), so researchers can verify exactly what they are ordering.

All materials are sold strictly for laboratory research. They are not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or any in-vivo application.

Testing & documentation

Every production lot is analysed by an independent, third-party laboratory. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry and purity by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), with a target of ≥99% purity.

A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) — including the HPLC chromatogram and mass-spec data — is available for every order and is tied to the lot number printed on your vial. If the batch number on your COA does not match your vial, it is not your document — and we want to know about it.

Cold-chain & handling

Peptides degrade with heat, moisture and time. We ship lyophilised in insulated packaging with gel ice packs, dispatch quickly, and include clear storage guidance so the material reaches your bench in the condition described on its COA.

Our editorial standards

Our Research Notes and product information are written and maintained by the UKPeptides research and education team. Our standards:

  • Content is framed strictly around laboratory research — we never describe human use, dosing, or health outcomes.
  • Scientific claims are kept factual and, where relevant, reference peer-reviewed literature or primary sources.
  • Articles are reviewed for accuracy before publication; corrections are made promptly when needed.
  • We aim for genuine information gain — practical, first-hand laboratory detail rather than repackaged summaries.

Educational content is provided for context only and is not medical, clinical or veterinary advice.
