UKPeptides — research, quality, results
HomePurity & Testing

Lab quality

Every batch tested.
Independently verified.

We don't self-certify purity. Every UKPeptides lot is analyzed by an accredited third-party laboratory before it ships. You get the data, not our word.

Analytical methods

Four tests. Every batch.

HPLC

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

The gold standard for peptide purity. Every batch is run through reversed-phase HPLC against a certified reference standard. We report area percentage purity — not estimated or theoretical values. Our minimum release threshold is 99.0%.

99.0% purity

LC-MS

Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry

Mass confirmation verifies that the compound is exactly what it claims to be. LC-MS provides a measured molecular weight that must match the theoretical value within tolerance. This test rules out substitution, adulteration, or synthesis errors.

Identity confirmed

KF

Karl Fischer Titration

Residual moisture content is measured via Karl Fischer titration. Lyophilised peptides must have < 3.0% residual water to ensure stability during long-term storage. High moisture is the leading cause of peptide degradation.

Sterility

Bioburden & Endotoxin

Products manufactured under ISO 8 conditions with sterile filtration through 0.22 µm membranes. Bioburden testing and LAL endotoxin assays are conducted per USP guidelines on a batch-sample basis.

ISO 8 compliant

Quality pipeline

From synthesis
to your bench.

Every peptide goes through a fixed six-stage quality pipeline. Batches that fail at any stage are destroyed — not discounted, not sold elsewhere.

01

Synthesis

Solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) using Fmoc chemistry. Side-chain protecting groups are selected for maximum coupling efficiency.

02

Cleavage & purification

Crude peptide is cleaved from resin, globally deprotected, and purified via preparative HPLC to target purity spec.

03

Lyophilisation

Purified peptide solution is filtered through 0.22 µm membrane then lyophilised under ISO 8 conditions to produce a white/off-white powder.

04

QC sampling

Representative vials from each batch are sent to an independent third-party laboratory. All testing is conducted blind — the lab does not know which batch is expected to pass.

05

Independent sign-off

Once the independent lab confirms purity 99.0%, identity by LC-MS, and moisture <3.0%, the batch is approved for release.

06

Release & fulfillment

Only after the independent lab's sign-off does the batch enter our fulfillment inventory. Batches that fail are destroyed — never sold.

Independent verification

Tested by an accredited lab — not self-certified.

Every batch is analysed by an independent, accredited third-party laboratory for purity (HPLC), identity (LC-MS) and residual moisture before it is released for sale. Batches that don't meet our 99.0% release threshold are destroyed — never sold.
